NOTES:  Tuesday merit badges do NOT replace the Sunday night sessions but are an added opportunity for less classroom-type badges.

Patrol meetings are for the younger patrols, to offer skills instruction and advancement.  The objective is to promote rank advancement.  Troop Guides are older Scouts who can instruct the younger Scouts.  Troop Guide is an Eagle-qualified leadership position; however, only those who participate in meetings with younger Scouts will receive credit.

For advancement:  The deadline for blue cards and Boards of Review is set for two weeks before each Court of Honor.  Scouts will be given the opportunity to sign up for a BOR in time for the Court of Honor.  Parents will be asked to volunteer for a board that will review several Scouts in turn.   Boards of Review should consist of adults who are NOT assistant Scoutmasters.  Scouts should be sure to contact Mr. Coleman for a Scoutmaster’s Conference BEFORE signing up for a Board of Review.
